Roof Mounted Pantograph

The advantages of our SLS 103 and SLS 102 roof-mounted pantographs have already proven themselves in many projects all over the world. The compact pantographs are mounted on the roof of the E-bus or battery-powered industrial vehicle and function according to the bus-up principle: The vehicle stops under the charging station where the roof charging pantograph extends, connects to the charging station and charges the batteries. Charging can take place both in the depot and during operation at a charging station within the route network - without any delay to regular driving operations. This is guaranteed by the extremely fast contacting and the very high current transmission. Our patented contact systems can be adapted to a variety of vehicles and specific customer requirements.

You benefit from these advantages:

  • SLS 102: Precisely designed to meet customer requirements for power transmission and availability; contacting in only four seconds or < 1 second if required
  • SLS 103: A technological milestone that sets previously unattained standards; charging electric vehicles of various heights up to double-decker buses in seconds - with a single charging current collector and very high performance
  • Integration on the battery-powered vehicle - contacting with charging infrastructure according to the bus-up principle
  • Multipole concept (minimum 4 poles) and contact sequence for safe charging
  • Precise compensation of parking deviations and kneeling effects during the loading process
